Marking 60 years, Corum launches Flying Tourbillon

To celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2015, Corum has created the Admiral’s Cup Legend 42 Flying Tourbillon. Robust yet practical the tourbillion carriage is mounted on enlarged ceramic ball bearings for resilience. The bridge and base plate of the movement are machined from stainless steel, ensuring stiffness and strength, and enabling the striking visual effect of the tourbillon seemingly floating as it makes one revolution a minute. Meticulous attention to the smallest details further enhances the beauty of the elegant timepiece. An especially essential feature, because it evokes the history of the Admiral’s Cup, is the chapter ring with its 12 nautical pennants, which are positioned as the hour markers.
