MB&F’s Maximilian Büsser awarded Gaïa Prize
Haute horlogerie maison MB&F recently announced that its founder Maximilian Büsser was awarded the Gaïa Prize – the most prestigious reward within the watchmaking industry on September 20, 2018. Since 1993, the Musée International d’Horlogerie (MIH) in La Chaux-de-Fonds has presented the prize in recognition of extraordinary careers in the field of watchmaking. Called the Nobel Prize of watchmaking, previous winners include some of the most famous names such as George Daniels, Philippe Dufour, François-Paul Journe, Kari Voutilainen, Jean-Claude Biver, Richard Mille, and Philippe Stern. Büsser received the Gaïa Prize “in recognition of his creative approach to watchmaking in the design and marketing of his products, and for the innovative way he manages his business”.
