Montblanc debuted its new global campaign to mark the centennial milestone of its iconic Meisterstück writing instrument during an exclusive event at the historic Paramour Estate. Written and directed by Academy Award-winning director and screenwriter Wes Anderson, the campaign pays homage to the legacy of the renowned writing instrument, inviting viewers on a journey into the world of Montblanc, seen through the filmmaker’s eyes and showcasing the Maison in a new light.
Set at the fictional Montblanc Headquarters at the top of the Mont Blanc mountain, the campaign features colourful characters portrayed by acclaimed actors Rupert Friend, Jason Schwartzman, and Wes Anderson himself. A series of still campaign visuals further enrich this reimagined Montblanc universe and feature Rupert Friend, American actor Maude Apatow, Indian-American actor and designer Waris Ahluwalia, Korean actor and Montblanc Mark Maker Lee Jinuk, and Chinese actor and Montblanc Global Brand Ambassador Jing Boran.
Until July 31, 2024, Montblanc and Wes Anderson fans can visit the Montblanc Chalet Pop Up at 459 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Taking inspiration from the campaign film’s Montblanc Observatory High-Mountain Library, visitors to the interactive and immersive space can experience a scenic chalet and discover and celebrate the fascinating journey of Montblanc’s writing icon, the Meisterstück.
