Montblanc’s Calligraphy fountain pen pays homage to historic quill

Montblanc pays tribute to the art of calligraphy and the evolution of the fountain pen from the quill through a new limited-edition Meisterstück writing instrument. The writing instrument has been fitted with a solid Au 750 white gold italic nib. This nib shape features sharper, less rounded edges compared to the standard Montblanc medium nib, allowing for clear line variance particularly suited for calligraphy. The handcrafted nib is embossed with the number ‘100’ in honour of the 100th anniversary of the Meisterstück and completed with a brilliant blue sapphire at its centre. As a tribute to the historical connection between the fountain pen and the quill, the pen features details in the style of plumasserie, the skilled craft of preparing and applying feathers by hand.
