New boutique of Jacob & Co. debuts in Dubai
Jacob Arabo’s creations, including the new Astronomia Sky and the Twin Turbo can now be seen at the marque’s new boutique at the Mall of the Emirates
The internationally renowned watches and jewellery brand Jacob & Co. recently celebrated the grand opening of its boutique in Dubai on April 15, 2016. Jacob Arabo, founder and chairman of Jacob & Co., received his guests for a VIP presentation of the brand’s latest collection at the maison’s new boutique in the Mall of the Emirates.
For more than a quarter of a century, Jacob & Co. has created revolutionary timepieces and exquisite jewellery that have captivated celebrities and notables from the watchmaking world and dazzled the world of fashion. Creating products with innovative and spectacular designs, the company has grown into one of the most recognised luxury brands in timepieces and jewellery.
The brand revealed to its Middle East fans, the Astronomia Sky and the Twin Turbo, marvels of high watchmaking complications, which were introduced only a few weeks ago at Baselworld 2016. Innovating upon the Astronomia Gravitational Triple Axis Tourbillon, the brand has now launched the Astronomia Sky: a unique complication that combines a sidereal display in three dimensions with a sky indicator and a 24-hour day and night display.
The Twin Turbo watch – a World Premiere Minute Repeater with Two Triple Axis Tourbillons – is a breakthrough in the history of watchmaking. With a spectacularly shaped case, the extremely complex construction is water-resistant up to 30mt, with a powerful crystal Cathedral Gong sound.
