Officine Panerai dedicates the Luminor 1950 Sealand to the Middle East

In partnership with Ali Bin Ali, a special edition Officine Panerai timepiece has been released exclusively at the Panerai boutiques in Doha, Riyadh and Jeddah

Born in 1860 in Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, the Officine Paneria took its roots from the art and the science that made Italy famous throughout the world for its creativity and genius. The watchmaking laboratory was a highly specialised supplier of measurement and precision instruments to the Italian Navy in the nineteen hundreds that became a fine watchmaker and international brand in the twenty first century.

With its heritage showing off nothing but passion, technical excellence and exclusive design, Officine Panerai bestows on each watch a sporting character that is unique and authentic, like the recently unveiled Luminor 1950 Sealand (PAM00849). Indeed a special edition timepiece, the Luminor 1950 Sealand honours the long-term partnership of the brand with Ali Bin Ali, a huge retailer of luxury watches and jewellery in the Middle East.

The new Luminor 1950 Sealand is personalised with a beautifully hand-engraved cover for the dial, featuring white Arabian horses riding in the desert with palm trees and the sea in the background:  an iconic image which highlights the purity of the Arabian horse in its original environment.

This Special Edition watch, of which only 60 units have been made, has a 44mm case in brushed steel with the iconic device protecting the crown. The stunning timepiece is powered by the automatic mechanical P.9000 calibre, entirely designed and created by the Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel.

Its bezel in polished steel is brushed steel, cover engraved by hand. The watch flaunts a classic Panerai grey dial with hours, minutes, small seconds and date functions. Wrapped in a gold calf strap and BA brushed steel buckle, the Luminor 1950 Sealand (PAM00849) has water resistance of up to 10 bars.

The watch is a part of a series of Special Editions created by Officine Panerai for the clients of some of the Panerai boutiques throughout the world. The Luminor 1950 Sealand (PAM00849) will be sold exclusively at the Panerai boutiques in Doha at the Villaggio Mall, in Riyadh at Al Tahlia Street and in Jeddah at Jameel Square.
