Officine Panerai Dives into Time in Dubai
Panerai’s exhibition, a glimpse of the maison’s travel through time, made an appearance in the emirate recently, to the delight of watch enthusiasts
Aiming to bring to local horologists its historic exhibition, “Panerai: Dive into Time”, which took place in Florence in May 2016, the Italian high-end watchmaker, Officine Panerai, hosted an exclusive Roadshow event on July 26 at the Four Seasons Hotel – DIFC.
“Panerai – Dive Into Time” was an invitation by the marque to journey through time, discover the past, the present, and the future of the exclusive watchmaking brand. Incentives to time travellers included a preview of the brand’s latest offerings. The event was attended by top collectors and Dubai watch club members who were delighted by the latest novelties at hand, presented for the first time in the Middle East.
The timepieces showcased at this event included the most complicated watch ever made by the Panerai manufacture – the Radiomir 1940 Minute Repeater Carillon Tourbillon GMT – 49mm (PAM00600), which has the new P. 9010 automatic movement with a power reserve of 3 days, the Luminor Marina 1950 (PAM01523, PAM01392, PAM01499, PAM01312 and PAM01359), the Luminor Due (PAM00674, PAM00675, PAM00676, and PAM00677) and the Luminor 1950 3 Days Acciaio – 47mm (PAM00673).
