OMEGA times 2016 FINA Swimming World Cup in Dubai

Dubai, in the first week of October, saw some of the world’s greatest swimmers arrive for the 5th meet of the 2016 FINA Swimming World Cup. OMEGA, as Official FINA Partner and Timekeeper, was on hand to time the competitions. The FINA is an international series and the 2016 circuit has so far included Paris, Berlin, Moscow and Beijing. Following Dubai, the 2016 edition will move on to Doha, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong. OMEGA is responsible for the timekeeping and data handling, and has also been behind the development of much of the key technology used to ensure that the competitors’ results are recorded perfectly.
