Panerai adds to Luna Rossa collection
In the run-up to the 37th America’s Cup, Panerai, official sponsor of the Italian Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli sailing team, is introducing new timepieces to the Luna Rossa collection with signature blue and red colours
Luminor Luna Rossa Quaranta PAM01408 features a black 40mm Steel DLC case and a blue sun-brushed dial with the date at 3 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock and is powered by the automatic P.900 calibre with a three-day power reserve.
The Luminor Luna Rossa Quaranta BiTempo PAM01404 delivers with its automatic P.900/GMT calibre with a three-day power reserve. Displaying two time zones, the tip of the GMT hand is gilded in red, the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team’s boat sail colour. The watch is set in a 40mm steel case and features a blue sun-brushed dial.
The Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono Carbotech PAM01519 is an Experience edition limited to 37 pieces allowing owners to partake in a curated immersion experience. Set in a 44mm Carbotech case with a blue sun-brushed dial, the watch also features the Speed Tachymeter Scale, to measure the average speed of the yacht over a defined distance. All three models feature a bi-material strap with a strip that bears the Luna Rossa logo.
Additions to the Luminor Due collection are two references, PAM01378 and PAM01381. PAM01378 is set in a polished 38mm steel case matched with a white Saffiano leather strap bearing the team’s name and red stripe logo while PAM01381 is set in a polished 42mm steel case matched with a grey bi-material strap. Both feature matte white sandwich dials with the Panerai logo and ‘Luna Rossa’ with numerals and indices in dark gray Super-LumiNova. Powered by the automatic P.900 calibre with a three-day power reserve, the straps are interchangeable. The watches are all boutique exclusives.
