Parmigiani Fleurier unveils Toric Petite Seconde

Still vivid in the memory of high-end horology collectors and enthusiasts, the Toric from Parmigiani Fleurier makes an exciting comeback in 2024. The Petite Seconde of the new generation Toric is no mere remake of the collection first presented in 1996. Parmigiani Fleurier has chosen to redefine the codes of elegance without compromise, by breaking with all established conventions

The overall lines of the Toric Petite Seconde’s case – in white or rose gold – is pure and minimalist, with no protrusions or aggressive angles, with the case and bracelet blending into a single whole. The case is topped by Parmigiaini’s iconic knurled bezel. Indexes, and hours and minutes are in 18ct rose gold. The gold dial is grained and bevelled. Inspired by a “vintage” aesthetic from the 1960s, the Toric dials are not uniformly flat but chevé. Their edges drop slightly to rest against the inner face of the case, presenting a level difference. The alligator strap in Nubuck finish is adorned with a sartorial stitch – punto a mano. Crafted in rose gold, the manually wound movement is entirely new. Three large surfaces in 18ct rose gold serve as bridges, arranged geometrically. Only the two barrels and the regulating organ are visible. Its large bridges are decorated with Côtes de Fleurier alternating with a sandblasted plate.
