Planet OMEGA showcases maison at New York

The story of OMEGA was on display from November 9 to 19 at the Chelsea Factory in New York City, with the special exhibition – Planet OMEGA – welcoming numerous stars

An intimate Opening Night event was held for the Planet OMEGA exhibition in New York, with special guest Nicole Kidman in attendance. Hosted at the Chelsea Factory in the heart of Manhattan, the evening was the perfect way to raise the curtain on a showcase of OMEGA watchmaking, with iconic timepieces on display from past and present. Other guests on the Opening Night included actor Paul Wesley and the Swiss singer / songwriter, Bastian Baker.

The Planet OMEGA exhibition was filled with watches and stories from across the decades. Within the location, the space was split into six distinctive areas, including Olympic Games and Sport, Space, Ocean, James Bond, Friends, and Precision. Some of the highlights included the OMEGA wristwatch worn by Elvis Presley as well as the OMEGA Slimline timepiece worn by John F. Kennedy at his presidential Inauguration Ceremony in 1961.

OMEGA ambassadors such as Daniel Craig, Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber also enjoyed visiting the exhibition.
