Portuguese singer wins 12th Glashutte Original Music Festival Award

The Dresden Music Festival came to a close on the 7^th of June, 2015 with an extraordinary concert by Portuguese Fado singer Mariza, who performed before an enthusiastic audience at the Albertinum. Following the concert the exceptional artist graciously accepted the 12^th Glashütte Original Music Festival Award, presented to her by Dresden Music Festival Director, Jan Vogler and Glashütte Original CEO, Yann Gamard. As every year, the award trophy was built by hand by two apprentices from the Saxon watchmaker’s “Alfred Helwig” School of Watchmaking, who joined the artist and presenters on stage for the ceremony.
