TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport
Three Chronograph models boast a robust fine-brushed and sandblasted grade-2 titanium case paired with a sandblasted ceramic bezel, emphasising durability and modernity. The fourth model stands out with its 18K 5N solid rose gold barrels, featuring gold lugs and a ceramic bezel, while the central body retains the grade-2 titanium construction. Dial colours and finishings complement the case materials, contributing to a striking aesthetic. This attention to detail ensures that every model embodies the passion and precision synonymous with TAG Heuer. The TAG Heuer Chronograph timepieces house the TH20-00 movement, which shares the same innovative attributes but boasts an impressive 80-hour power reserve, and also comes with a 5-year warranty, underscoring TAG Heuer’s dedication to excellence.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport
The first TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport features a bezel of forged carbon – remarkable for its lightweight yet durable properties – with grey markings. The skeleton NAC-coated dial with black grained details and a black flange with grey outline is enhanced with rhodium-plated indexes and hands. The gold Tourbillon variant boasts a luxuriant bi-material construction – of 18K 5N solid rose gold fine-brushed case, polished stretchers, and a black DLC-coated grade-2 titanium container. The NAC-coated skeleton dial displays black grained details and a black flange with a golden outline, complemented by rose gold- plated indexes and hands for better legibility and elegance. The crown, adorned with an 18K 5N rose gold-plated ring, further solidifies the watch’s refined aesthetics.
Both watches have an open caseback, showcasing the movement’s intricate laser-engraved checkered pattern and a coloured column wheel, adding to their elegance and legibility. Additionally, the skeletonised dial offers a clear view of the decorated movement plate, ensuring visibility even during the most extreme sporting moments. The Tourbillon is powered by the advanced TH20-09 in-house calibre, an evolution of the Heuer 02, featuring a vertical clutch, column wheel, and a new shield-shaped rotor for a distinctive modern touch. It offers a bidirectional automatic rewinding system and a 65-hour power reserve, backed by a 5-year extended warranty.
