Reservoir presents Popeye Camel special edition for Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons

The fourth collaborative comic-driven timepiece from watchmaker Reservoir, the new Reservoir x Popeye Camel watch is an exclusive series for Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the leading luxury watch and jewellery retailer in the UAE. Popeye is recast in a desert setting, and a camel has taken the place of his famous boat. He is dressed like a pirate, complete with a parrot and treasure chest, against the backdrop of a starry night sky with a crescent moon. The PVD gold case gives a retro vibe reminiscent of the old-fashioned navigational equipment that explorers previously used. The Indian numeral minute index is a component of the brand’s iconic retrograde minute display, in which the hand moves from 0 to 60 on a 240° arc before stopping and starting over at the beginning. The hour marker at 6 is a jumping hour complication. Presented on a brown leather strap, the timepiece houses the Reservoir Calibre RSV-240, and boasts a 56-hour power reserve. This 100-piece numbered limited-edition timepiece is presented in a bespoke white wooden box. An additional embroidery in honour of Popeye is also offered.
