Ressence launches TYPE 1° DX3 in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons

Ressence has unveiled the TYPE 1° DX3, in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, a limited edition that fuses the intricate patterns of Arabic mosaics with the watchmaking art of cloisonné. The TYPE 1 models feature a dial adorned with a graphical pattern inspired by Arab Geometric Art – a common thread throughout this trilogy. A rose gold colour palette imparts the hues of the desert. The logical arrangement of dial colours gradually unfolds, with darker shades emerging as we move away from the central sub-dials. It is in the dark that the cloisonné dial design – filled with grade A Super-LumiNova, as are the numerals – comes to life when the watch emits its gentle green glow. This final launch is accompanied by Ressence’s first book “Arts & Crafts in Motion,” limited to 200 copies. Limited to 35 pieces, the TYPE 1° DX3 was on display at Dubai Watch Week.
