L.U.C XPS Forest Green
The L.U.C XPS Forest Green celebrates the three core values of the L.U.C collection: technical performance, aesthetic refinement and a commitment to certified watchmaking. The all-new Forest Green sector-type dial boasts a fusion of vintage charm and modern watchmaking excellence. The 40-mm Lucent Steel case is both responsibly produced and well-proportioned for a wide variety of wrist sizes. The dial is enchanting, with traditional touches of Chopard design, from the case and lugs to the signature rhodium-plated Dauphine hands. The sector-type dial design adopts a time-only dial layout and sits between the Art Deco and Bauhaus movements, with the concentric circles typical of the former and the functionality of the latter. The L.U.C 96.12-L is an ultra-thin calibre measuring just 3.30 mm thick, featuring a bidirectional 22-carat gold micro-rotor and twin stacked barrels providing a generous 65-hour power reserve. The “Chronometer” inscription is visual recognition that the L.U.C 96.12-L calibre housed in the L.U.C XPS Forest Green meets the most stringent accuracy tests as performed by COSC.
Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph
Now in Lucent Steel, the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph features a black and white ‘La Gara’ dial, a timeless symbol of the competitive spirit. Its 40.5 mm case in Chopard’s exclusive Lucent Steel – made with a recycling rate of at least 80% – frames a dial inspired by the black and white chequered flag marking the arrival of a motor-race winner. Symbolising the competitive spirit, this dial is called ‘La Gara’, the Italian word for race. It is topped by a superb ‘glass box’ crystal ensuring optimal opening onto the dial and hence maximum legibility. The back of the watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal affording a view of the self-winding chronograph movement certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute and endowed with a 54-hour power reserve. Competitive spirit and sense of camaraderie; energy and dynamism; speed and style: such are the attributes epitomising Italy’s celebrated 1000 Miglia Italian classic car race that Chopard has been annually expressing for the past 36 years through the watches of the Mille Miglia collection.
L’Heure du Diamant
With its aventurine glass dial, cushion-shaped case in ethical white gold surrounded with pear-shaped diamonds and midnight-blue alligator leather strap, this new timepiece adds to the collection’s original design and is infused with an ultra-contemporary yet resolutely vintage spirit. At its centre is a deep blue aventurine glass, studded with its characteristic sparkling reflections. Dotted around this celestial vault paired with a midnight blue alligator leather strap, 24 perfectly ordered pear-shaped diamonds symbolise the 24 hours of the day. In keeping with the Scheufele family’s expertise in jewellery watches, the crown setting adorning this creation is an exclusive Chopard skill. Epitomising masterful craftsmanship, the crown setting features V-shaped prongs – invented by Karl Scheufele – enabling light to reach the diamonds with as little interference as possible. The watch case thus vanishes beneath a diamond coronet, surrounding the dial with a glittering, almost 4-carat halo. This new model beats to the rhythm of the Chopard 09.01-C movement and its 42-hour power reserve; a self-winding movement entirely designed, developed and assembled in the Maison’s Fleurier watchmaking workshops.
Happy Sport Joaillerie
The latest edition of the Happy Sport Joaillerie is housed in ethical 18-carat white gold set with diamonds and purple sapphires and highlights the Manufacture’s finest watchmaking and jewellery skills. The ultimate embodiment of the watchmaking and jewellery expertise cultivated in Chopard’s workshops, the Happy Sport collection welcomes a new 33 mm-diameter timepiece designed according to the principles of harmony defined by the golden ratio. In this model, whirling diamonds take their place at the heart of a jewelled case in ethical 18-carat white gold entirely paved with diamonds. The textured mother-of-pearl dial is surrounded by a bezel set with baguette-cut purple sapphires in a subtle colour gradient. The virtuosity of the Manufacture’s gem-setters is manifested throughout the watch in creating a splendid stage-setting for the legendary choreography of the collection’s signature dancing diamonds. Combining watchmaking excellence with the art of jewellery-making, this Happy Sport model beats to the rhythm of the Chopard 09.01-C self-winding movement endowed with a 42-hour power reserve.
Happy Sport
A vibrant legacy of Joie de Vivre, Happy Sport is a timepiece for women who stride confidently towards their destiny. Since 1993, the vitality of this Chopard watchmaking icon has been staging a mesmerising show thanks to the mischievous choreography of the Maison’s legendary dancing diamonds. With each passing season, the collection is regularly reinvented in an infinite palette of colours, confirming its playful character and its perpetual celebration of Joie de Vivre. In this new 250-piece limited edition, Happy Diamonds whirl across a cream-coloured dial with a finely guilloché centre. Creating a play on subtly matching tones, the olive green tourmaline set on the crown is echoed in the colour of the glossy alligator leather strap. Magnificently demonstrating the workshops’ ability to blend watchmaking excellence with the art of jewellery-making, this Happy Sport model in Lucent Steel appears in the 33 mm-diameter case designed by the Manufacture according to the principles of harmony defined by the golden ratio and beats to the rhythm of the Chopard 09.01-C self-winding movement with its 42-hour power reserve.
Alpine Eagle 33 Frozen
The Alpine Eagle collection, inspired by nature, now welcomes an Alpine Eagle 33 Frozen edition in ethical 18-carat white gold entirely set with diamonds. The timepiece reveals its majesty through a profusion of precious stones highlighting the art of gem-setting cultivated by the Maison’s artisans from generation to generation. They have patiently paved the entire dial – as well as the crown guards and each bracelet link – with hundreds of diamonds. The collection’s distinctive bezel with its eight indexed screws is also embellished with baguette-cut diamonds. Through the sparkle of these precious stones, Chopard confirms the collection’s profound inspiration drawn from Nature, celebrated as the greatest architect, with diamonds evoking immaculate glaciers and the luminous beauty of the stars shining down upon them. Whether in the city or the mountains, the Alpine Eagle Frozen timepiece can count on the reliability of a self-winding movement visible through the exhibition case-back. Chopard Calibre 09.01-C is crafted by the Maison’s artisans from 159 components. It is subject to strict specifications, guaranteeing a 42-hour power reserve and excellent reliability.
Haute Joaillerie
The brilliance of radiant-cut yellow diamonds dominate Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie collection this year. Gently caressing like springtime sunbeams, yellow diamonds once again demonstrate their seductive appeal. Because each precious stone carries within it a unique brilliance testifying to its rarity, the Chopard Haute Joaillerie ateliers carefully craft creations that highlight gems to splendid effect by revealing their true magnificence. Luminous creations graced with classic and timeless lines once again honour the Maison’s jewellery expertise and Caroline Scheufele’s irreplaceable eye for choosing the finest gems. For this array of yellow diamonds, she has focused on the originality of the eminently modern radiant cut, with its rectangular 70-facetted shape that is particularly suited to coloured diamonds enhancing their hue through light effects and amplified brilliance. A pair of earrings featuring four imposing yellow diamonds, a ring set with a 26.36-carat stone nestling between two white half-moon diamonds, along with a magnificent jewellery watch – all crafted in ethical gold thanks to the talents and virtuosity of the workshops – join the Maison’s collections this season.
Precious Lace
Treasures sculpted in Chopard’s signature jewellery lace are added to the collection. Through the Precious Lace collection, Chopard has reinvented Haute Joaillerie with a powerful design based on ultra-feminine openwork motifs. Skilfully entwined precious stones and ethical gold transform jewellery into veritable Haute Couture pieces that sculpt feminine allure and follow each movement of the body as daintily as a lace ribbon. Following the success of its design for round earrings graced with an undulation reminiscent of swirling waves, the workshops deliver a new size interpreted in the colours of the four major precious stones. While the Precious Lace collection is first and foremost contemporary, it remains true to Haute Joaillerie traditions: designers, gemmologists, sculptors, gem-cutters, gem-setters and polishers – whose skills are handed down from generation to generation – combine their virtuosity to create masterpieces in which each stone is hemmed with a fine guipure of brilliant-cut diamonds; each prong forms a mashrabiya on the back of the jewellery that allows light to filter through; and each precious stone is carefully selected for its hue and its natural clarity. Presented in a range of ethical white or rose gold set with diamonds, as well as rubies, sapphires and emeralds, these new earrings in new sizes – mid-way between the original large size and the ear studs presented in 2021 – adorn the face with peerless glamour and femininity.
Happy Diamonds
Chopard adds lucky-charm animals to wear close to the heart to its Happy Diamonds collection. Soft, round curves. Universal symbols. Dancing diamonds. In the pure tradition of Happy Diamonds creations, enter these new little lucky-charm animals. A teddy bear, a ladybird, an elephant and a turtle in ethical 18-carat rose gold, interpreted with great tenderness and designed to be worn as pendants, close to the heart. The dainty colour of rose gold creates a glowing complexion, adding a touch of modern style while evoking love and tenderness. Their rounded lines and symbolism, combined with the playfulness of dancing diamonds, evoke the sweetness of childhood, making them cheerful, easy-to-wear pieces for any occasion. Their perfect proportions and adjustable chain lengths mean they can be worn solo or combined with other necklaces or pendants. Reminiscent of childhood and witnesses of daily living, the new Happy Diamonds creations are discreet yet indispensable, precious companions for every passing moment.
Accessories
Chopard’s watchmaking and jewellery creativity has also been expressed for many years through an accessory collection in which the Maison’s concern for detail and quest for perfection are matched by the expertise of its Artisans and the nobility of the selected materials. The Maison’s entire world is thus reflected in elegant bags, writing instruments, silk scarves and cashmere stoles, as well as leather goods, decorative objects, games and fragrances. The iconic designs of Chopard watches and jewellery inspire these precious objects crafted in the finest European workshops. All the partners involved in these exceptional creations are chosen for the skills they demonstrate in their respective fields, as well as the transparency of their sourcing and production circuit.
