Stars join Chopard in its “Journey to Sustainable Luxuryâ€
Swiss luxury company Chopard, together with famous couple Colin and Livia Firth, hosted an exclusive gathering that celebrated the brand’s unique partnership: “The Journey to Sustainable Luxury”
Chopard Co-President and Artistic Director, Caroline Scheufele, with the support of Colin and Livia Firth, welcomed a crowd of A-list personalities to an intimate dinner held on the 26th of February 2016 on the terrace at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles, California. This private dinner came ahead of the celebration of The Academy Awards night, and was meant to honour the unique partnership between Chopard and Eco-Age, The Journey to Sustainable Luxury.
The Journey to Sustainable Luxury began when Chopard, with Eco-Age, forged a philanthropic relationship with the influential South American mining NGO, the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM). Chopard became the world’s first watch and luxury jewellery company to enable mining communities to reach Fairmined gold certification as well as providing training, social welfare and environmental support.
With this distinctive initiative of The Journey to Sustainable Luxury, Chopard has a commitment to a multi-year programme to achieve sustainable luxury. The goal is to improve the environment and the lives of those at the very beginning of the supply chain.
Celebrities such as Julianne Moore, Emily Blunt, Kevin Bacon, Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney, Cameron Russell, Ben Barnes, Richard Buckley, Aaron Paul and many more joined Colin and Livia Firth and Caroline Scheufele at this private dinner with a sustainable cause.
