TAG Heuer celebrates end of racing season

Founded in 1860 by Edouard Heuer, the brand has been synonymous with motor racing throughout the advent of the sport which began in earnest back in the early 1900s. This year was no different with the Swiss sports watch-maker hosting a cocktail reception on the evening of the 8th of April, 2015 to celebrate the end of the UAE's 2014-2015 Dubai Autodrome racing season, which resulted in 9 winners of various championships. The winners included UAE Touring Car Championship Class 1 winner, Costas Papantonis and Abdul-Aziz Bin Laden from Saudi Falcons Kawasaki, who claimed the UAE Sportbike Championship title.
During the reception, which took place at 101 Prive, One & Only on The Palm, TAG Heuer awarded each winner a TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph timepiece as a show of support for the motor-racing sport and its developing legacy in the UAE. The seven other winners at the event were Alexandros Annivas – UAE Touring Car Championship Class 2 and UAE Touring Car Championship Clio Cup winner, Shane Woodrum – UAE Sportbike Championship Rookie Cup winner, Emanuele Pagani, Jonathan Mowatt, Sanad Al Rawahi, Abdulla Al Rawahi and Jack McCarthy.
