The BOMBERG BOLT-68 Falcon swoops in for a successful landing
Swiss watchmaker BOMBERG celebrates Arab culture with the launch of its newest collection: The BOLT-68 Falcon that features traditional colours and Arabic numerals
The shrill of the bell signalled the end of a round at the exclusive BOMBERG launch of its new collection; The BOLT-68 Falcon. The sport-themed event took place at Round 10 Boxing Club in Dubai on the 28th of May, 2015, where a number of press and friends of the brand turned up in support of the new timepieces that are retailed exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
Initially launched in South America in 2012, BOMBERG is known for its unconventional and bold designs and later joined forces with its renowned retail partner, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons in 2013. Recently, the two entities invited guests to a sporty launch event where athletes wearing novelty watches, including pieces from the new collection, battled it out during a martial arts and boxing show that were the highlights of the evening.
The new collection pays homage to the Arab culture with specifically designed Arabic numerals and the use of traditional flag colours and sparkling diamonds. Each timepiece is crafted in Switzerland, where the movement, design and assembly of the watches are meticulously carried out. The BOLT-68 Falcon transports us straight into the middle of an ardent desert, with a detachable time-keeping module that can be attached to a metal chain to become a pocket watch.
