Tiffany & Co. announced the planting of 1,837 mangroves at Jubail Mangrove Park, marking the Founding Year of the House, to foster a deep connection to the local community
Uplifting Tiffany & Co.’s longstanding commitment to environmental stewardship, this initiative aims to protect and restore the vital mangrove ecosystem. The 1,837 mangrove planting milestone at Jubail Mangrove Park coincided with the conclusion of Tiffany & Co.’s Constellation of Love, which brought a series of activations to the capital.
Open to all, Jubail Mangrove Park is a sanctuary for avian and marine species native to Abu Dhabi, raising awareness and appreciation of the important ecological functions of mangrove habitats. Mangrove trees are nature’s carbon-storing superpower – absorbing and storing significantly more carbon than many other ecosystems, including rainforests. Preserving these precious ecosystems is essential for combating climate change, supporting biodiversity and supporting a healthy planet for generations to come.
Since its inception in 1837, Tiffany & Co. has been guided by the belief that a successful company has a responsibility to the greater community. Celebrating 25 years in operation, The Tiffany & Co. Foundation was established in 2000 to focus the company’s philanthropic endeavours and has donated over $100 million to organisations around the world.
The 1837 mangrove milestone is a celebration of sustainable luxury and ensures the continuation of the House’s legacy in Abu Dhabi, fostering a deep connection with the local community.
