Tiffany & Co. congratulates Los Angeles Lakers on Inaugural NBA win

Tiffany & Co. congratulated the Los Angeles Lakers on their victory at the Inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament, winning the NBA Cup. Crafted in collaboration with artist Victor Solomon, the NBA In-Season Tournament Championship Trophy or “The NBA Cup”, weighing 35 lbs. and standing 23” tall, symbolises the inaugural tournament. The NBA Cup features 30 net openings, representing NBA teams, and a three-tier base symbolising the three knockout rounds required for victory. Handcrafted at the Cumberland, Rhode Island workshop, the process took 21 weeks, totalling 152 hours of labour. The NBA In-Season Tournament MVP Trophy, standing 15” tall and weighing 11.5 lbs., represents the 15 teams in each NBA conference. Handcrafted over 21 weeks at the same workshop, it required 88 hours of labour.
