Tiffany & Co. offers artistic and horological masterpieces at LVMH Watch Week

Storied luxury maison Tiffany & Co. has drawn on its history and legacy to astonish its aficionados with stunning new timepieces. While the Eternity by Tiffany Wisteria Watch is inspired by the iconic Tiffany Studios Wisteria lamp, the Carat 128 Aquamarine Watch is a homage to the legendary Tiffany Diamond. Two dazzling new interpretations of the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock Watch are accompanied by the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Twenty Four Stone Watch, a new expression of the maison’s celebrated Sixteen Stone Jewelry Collection

Eternity by Tiffany Wisteria Watch
Set with the Eternity collection’s signature diamond hour markers, the vividly coloured enamel dial of the watch replicates the floral motif of the Wisteria lamp, one of Tiffany Studios’ most celebrated designs from the early 20th century and is to be produced in limited numbers. The vivid colours, glowing with the intensity of gemstones, are executed in plique-à-jour enamelling, which allows light to permeate through and reflect off the dial plate, showcasing the exquisite enamel handiwork. The hand-crafted dials mean each watch is distinctly one of a kind.

The design codes of the Eternity by Tiffany watch collection take inspiration from a series of vintage Tiffany & Co. advertisements from the 1960s that showcased diamond engagement rings in a variety of shapes and styles. Set into the coloured enamel Wisteria dial, each of the 12 hours is marked by a differently cut diamond, with the various cuts celebrating Tiffany’s authority and heritage as the purveyor of the world’s finest diamonds.

The watch features 709 total diamonds of over 5 total carats. The case scintillates with 627 snow-set diamonds totalling over 1 carat. The bezel is set with 59 diamonds of over 1.5 total carats, while the dial is set with 12 diamonds of 1.9 carats, and the crown – which adopts the six-prong design of the iconic Tiffany Setting engagement ring – is set with a round brilliant diamond of 0.42 carats. The entire process of crafting, setting, and assembling all components requires over 150 hours of labour, with 80 hours devoted to the hand enamelling and assembly of the dial, and 70 hours to the snow-setting of the diamonds.

Carat 128 Aquamarine Watch
Inspired by and named after the legendary Tiffany Diamond, a 128.54-carat cushion-shaped fancy yellow diamond of extraordinary fire and beauty, the Carat 128 watch collection is an eloquent expression of Tiffany & Co.’s creativity and craftsmanship. The Carat 128 Aquamarine high jewellery watch, a unique piece, features a 27 mm diamond-set case in 18k white gold, with a total of 897 diamonds totalling over 29 carats set on its case and five-row bracelet.

The glass protecting the dial is a single diamond-cut aquamarine of 35.23 carats. Artisans crafted its  facets to mimic those of the Tiffany Diamond and create an impression of greater visual depth. The dial is snow-set with 382 diamonds in five sizes of 1.2 total carats and the case is snow-set with 255 diamonds of five different sizes totalling 0.7 carats. Artisans set the 18k white gold crown with nine round brilliant diamonds.

Inspired by the iconic Tiffany Setting engagement ring, artisans set the five-row bracelet with 251 brilliant diamonds of 28 total carats in three different diameters. The 60 largest of these diamonds – weighing 20 total carats with each stone individually registered with its own serial number – are held by the six-pronged Tiffany Setting, maximising the amount of light passing through the diamond, enhancing its scintillation. The diamond setting of the watch and bracelet represents more than 315 hours of meticulous work.

The new high jewellery timepiece complements three Carat 128 Facet styles launched earlier this year: one in white gold and white diamonds on a Tiffany Blue alligator strap and one in yellow gold and yellow diamonds on a black brushed calfskin strap, together with a high jewellery model.

Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock Watch
Jean Schlumberger’s diamond-encrusted bird now perches on the dial of the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock watches, which will be produced in limited numbers each year. Invisibly attached to the outer ring of the dial, which spins freely with every gesture of the  wrist, the signature bird recreates the sense of movement that is characteristic of Jean Schlumberger’s indelible creations. To enable the outer ring to rotate freely, artisans developed an inventive ball-bearing mechanism. Engraved with a sunburst pattern inspired by the Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. Floral Arrows brooch, the caseback is highlighted by a sprinkling of diamonds.

Bird on a Rock Full Pavé Diamond Watch:
Presented in an 18k white gold case, the Bird on a Rock high jewellery watch – bracelet, case, and centre of dial – is set with a total of 1,318 round brilliant diamonds of over 8 total carats. Complementing the diamond-set centre of the dial, the outer rotating ring features 30 baguette aquamarines of over 3 total carats. A push button is integrated into the caseback for setting the time, which is powered by a high-precision Swiss quartz movement.

Bird on a Rock Tsavorite Watch:
On the dial, creating a stunning contrast with the diamond-set central disc, are 36 baguette tsavorites of 5.4 total carats set on the rotating outer ring. On the watch, the tsavorites’ green hue is complemented by a dark green alligator strap fastened by a diamond-set T buckle. A fine Swiss self-winding movement, Calibre LTM 2100, powers the 39mm Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock Tsavorite watch, providing a power reserve of 38 hours.

Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Twenty Four Stone Watch
The Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Twenty Four Stone watch is a new expression of the House’s celebrated Sixteen Stone collection. The watch dial features a rotating ring decorated with a cross-stitch motif in 18k yellow gold. Limited in production each year, the watch is presented in an 18k white gold case and set with a total of 707 diamonds of over 6.5 total carats.

The diamond-set watch dial is made in two sections: a fixed central disc and an outer ring that features the Sixteen Stone collection’s signature cross-stitch motif in 18k yellow gold with 24 round brilliant diamonds of 1 total carat. Spinning freely with every gesture of the wearer’s wrist, the rotating ring creates the sense of movement that characterised so many of Jean Schlumberger’s designs. Contrasting with the diamonds, the 18k yellow gold hands match the yellow gold of the cross-stitches. The central disc of the dial and the watch case are snow-set with round brilliant diamonds. The jewellery element of the Twenty Four Stone watch alone represents 80 hours of work by the House’s goldsmiths and gem-setters.

The caseback, engraved with a sunburst pattern inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s Floral Arrows brooch, is set with an additional 21 diamonds. The winding crown, inspired by the iconic 6-prong Tiffany Setting, is set with a solitaire diamond of 0.47 carats and the Tiffany Blue alligator strap is fastened with a white gold T buckle set with 49 round brilliant diamonds of 0.18 carats. The Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Twenty Four Stone watch is powered by a fine Swiss-made self-winding mechanical movement, Calibre LTM 2100, which provides a power reserve of 38 hours.
