The much-anticipated annual haute horlogerie events Watches & Wonders Geneva and Baselworld have both cancelled their upcoming edition initially planned for April-May of 2020. The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie – the organiser of Watches & Wonders – has only announced the cancellation of the 2020 edition due to the current developments concerning the worldwide spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, and not a date for its 2021 edition. Baselworld, meanwhile, announced that it has taken the decision to postpone the show to take place from January 28, 2021 to February 2, 2021, with the Press Day scheduled for January 27, due to concerns related to Covid-19.
