Zenith, women’s best friend
Zenith extends an open invitation to their women clientele to enjoy excellence through their two new editions of the El Primero Chronomaster Lady diamond-set rose gold model
Since 1865, Zenith has loved women every bit as much as women love watches, and has succeeded in enriching watchmaking with vibrant colour and feminine delicacy. From the first enamelled pocket watches to jewellery pendant watches and complicated wristwatches, its creations are an anthem to elegance and to the watchmaking art.
The inner beauty of a fascinating mechanism is matched by the aesthetic refinement of exceptional timepieces. Embodying the philosophy of absolute performance, the world’s most precise movement – the legendary El Primero – appears housed in a 42 MM case perfectly suited to women’s wrists.
The El Primero Chronomaster Lady is now enriching the 2016 El Primero ladies’ collections with its two new dials, along with its delicate diamond-pavé bezel accentuating the sparkling sensuality of this delightfully feminine model. The new diamond-set rose gold model is now available with a choice of black or brown dial with baguette diamonds.
Both models are designed with an opening that reveals the legendary beating heart of the El Primero movement, with a silicon escape-wheel and lever, housing the automatic El Primero Column-Wheel Chronograph, which is certified by the COSC.
The 42 MM case is of rose gold set with diamonds, with a thickness of 14.05 mm, and domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The case back is of transparent sapphire crystal, and the watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM.
While one edition has a black dial lacquered with diamonds, the other one has a dial that is sunray-patterned brown with diamonds. Both the hour-markers and the hands are gold-plated, faceted and coated with SuperLuminova SLN C1.
The black-dial edition comes with a black alligator leather strap with protective rubber lining, while the brown one has a brown alligator leather strap with protective rubber lining. Both editions come with a rose gold pin buckle.
The watch houses the legendary El Primero 4061 automatic movement, which beats at 36,000 VpH (5 Hz) and boasts a minimum 50 hours of power reserve.
Displaying the hours and minutes in the centre, the timepiece shows the small seconds at 9 o’clock, with the chronograph’s 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock.
The total weight of the gems in both the editions is ~3.065 cts; the bezel adorned with 40 VVS baguette-cut diamonds, and the dial with 12 VVS baguette-cut diamonds.
